Changing an Item Pack

Item packs can be changed in Item Packs. For more information on making changes to an item pack during the adding process see Adding an Item Pack.

Item packs can also be changed through the Item option when adding or changing a new item by selecting the Packs command option. See Item for more information.

1. At the Item field, enter the item group for the item whose item pack needs to be changed, or press F3 to display a Select An Item Group window containing a list of all item groups. Scroll to the appropriate item group and press Enter.

2. A Select An Item window will appear with a list of all items in the item group. Scroll to the item you want to select and press Enter.

3. A Select A Pack or Pack Option window will appear and will list all item packs defined for the item selected. Select the item pack that needs to be changed by scrolling to the item pack and pressing Enter.

5. An Item Pack Definition window will display all item pack details. Command options will appear; select Change.

6. Make any necessary changes and press Enter through the remaining fields.

7. Command options will appear:

• Select Labels to add, change, or delete label templates to print for the outer pack, inner pack, and units of the pack and to enter the quantity to print for the item pack ordered.
• At the Lbl field enter the label template ID, or press F3 for a list of available label templates. Enter the quantity of labels to print for the outer pack UOM. At the Broken Case field, enter Y (Y=Yes) to print labels for broken cases, enter N if labels do not need to be printed for broken cases. Continue entering label templates for the break unit and/or broken cases, if applicable. The "Add Label" command option will appear after you have entered all label information. Select this option to add the item pack label(s).
• Select Change to change the label templates or the quantity required.
• Select Delete to delete a label template for the item pack.
• Select Exit to exit from the Labels command option.
• Select Change to make additional changes to the item pack.
• Select Delete to delete the item pack.
• Select Update Pack to save the changes made to the item pack.
• Select Exit to exit. The following message will appear: "Pack was changed!! Exit without updating? No/Yes".
  • If you select No, the system will return to the command options.
  • If you select Yes, the system will return to the Select A Pack of Pack Option window.

Select Update Packs to save your changes.

Important: Your changes will not be saved unless you select Update.
